Kent, England, November 19, 2008– Pandora International today announced the compatibility of Dulce Systems’ PRO FC 4Gb Fibre Channel storage arrays with Pandora’s YoYo Data Management Suite which includes- YoProject with YoSource or YoCapture and YoViewer to source or capture archive data material to tape using bar code indexing. YoYo forms the bridge between existing raw data storage and the Revolution (or PiXi*) colour corrector and efficiently manages the data workflow to increase productivity. Dulce Systems is a leading storage solutions provider for the content creation, post production, broadcast and delivery markets.

With Pandora’s YoYo you can count on no ingest delays working directly from SAN or attached media, and you can lay off multiple versions in real time from outside of the creative suite. YoYo offers simplicity, all that needs to be done is to connect at the point of capture to HDCam SR decks and alike. You can browse clips on a SAN from unlimited clients in real time - even wirelessly, visually create simple edit lists for graphics suites and can serve multiple rooms from a single unit.

“YoYo supports the import of mixed materials - data / HD / SD / Quicktime / and Offline Clips. It supports combining EDLs into a playlist, serves material in source or conform order as well as creates scan lists for missing clips and enables the Colorist to continue to grade on available clips. This can be extremely intensive on storage systems. Having the proper storage to work with these formats / workflows is crucial to the success of your project and the Dulce Systems PRO FC 4Gb rackmount arrays have the performance and reliability to handle these formats superbly,” said Ian Rosher Operations Director at Pandora International”.

“The Dulce PRO FC and Pandora YoYo combination offers unprecedented performance and provides affordable, scalable storage and software to address a wide variety of film and broadcast video applications. Our PRO FC 4Gb rackmount arrays and the Pandora YoYo products are a compelling combination for the post production community,” said Carmen Palacios, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Dulce Systems. “The real time performance achievable with the Dulce Pro arrays and the range of output formats available through YoYo can be added to any Revolution system to work in Resolution independence with the PCIe option or any Revolution or PiXi using serial HDSDi. When working in HDSDi YoYo can source up to 2K data and resize 'on the fly' to HD 444, the capture options are then HD DPX frames or HD 444 (or SD) to tape”.
